三、一些代词的不同用法

Few表示很少几个，几乎没有，a few表示有几个，一些，修饰或代替复数可数名词。

Little表示很少，几乎没有；a little表示有一些 ，修饰或代替不可数名词。

A few和a little 表示肯定意义：I know a little about psycis.

Few 和little表示否定意义：Few have such a chance.

Much，用来修饰或代替不可数名词，much water.

Many，用来修饰或代替复数可数名词，many books.

由两部分组成，any, every, no, some + body, one, thing.

两部分复合成anybody, everybody, nobody, somebody等。

这类词要注意的是，作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式，修饰这类复合代词的形容词的位置是在所修饰词之后。

Somebody has been working all night in the office.有人

Someone patient is helpful for this job.有耐心的人

Such后面跟名词：Such + a（n）+（adj）+可数名词，such an interesting book/ such interesting books.

So后面跟形容词=so +adj+ a（n）+可数名词，so interesting a book/ so interesting books.

Other泛指另外的，作定语，常与复数名词或不可数名词连用。但如果前面有the, this ,that, some等词以及形容词性物主代词时，则可与单数名词连用。

Others是other 的复数形式，泛指别的人或物。

The other指两者中的另一个，常与one连用。

another指三个或三个以上中的“再一个……另一个”作代词或形容词。

四、某些代词词组

Not many 不多，只有几个 All day，整天

All night，整夜 All day long 一天到晚

All the year round 整年 All this 所有这些

All the time 一直

Nothing but 只不过是

anything but 根本不是，一点也不，绝不

Everything but 每一，除了

All but 一切，除了，几乎
